Salary range £28,000 - £32,000 p.a. negotiable based on experience, plus benefits
The Energy Institute (EI) is the professional membership body bringing global energy expertise together. We gather and share essential knowledge about energy, the skills that are helping us use it more wisely, and the good practice that keeps it safe and secure.
We articulate the voice of energy experts, taking the know-how of around 20,000 members from 120 countries to the heart of the public debate. And we’re an independent, not-for-profit, safe space for evidence-based collaboration, an honest broker between industry, academia and policy makers.
We are looking to appoint a Membership Manager to take up a pivotal role in our friendly team.
As Membership Manager you will oversee our annual subscription renewals processes, ensuring that everything runs like clockwork, our data is accurate, income is maximised and members receive clear communications and excellent customer service. As well as responding to member enquiries and getting involved in events and initiatives to support member recruitment, you will develop strategies to retain members and help them make the most of their membership.
The successful applicant will have experience of renewals and payment processes including Direct Debit, ideally within a membership organisation or similar. They will have a calm, organised and proactive approach combined with a meticulous attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. In particular they will enjoy working with members as part of a team.
