Global energy firm PETRONAS joins as Energy Institute Technical Partner

The Energy Institute, the chartered professional membership body for people who work across the energy sector, has today announced global energy leader PETRONAS as its latest Technical Partner.
At a signing ceremony on day two of International Energy Week in London, PETRONAS Senior Vice President of Project Delivery & Technology, Ir Mohd Yusri Mohamed Yusof, and PETRONAS Senior General Manager of Strategy and Corporate Servies, Project Delivery & Technology, Abang Jimmy Abang Mordian, joined Energy Institute Chief Executive, Dr Nick Wayth, and Technical Director, Martin Maeso, to officially sign on as a Technical Partner.
The Energy Institute’s Technical and Innovation work is an industry-leading and global programme driving critical research, best practices, and solutions to help the energy sector navigate its ongoing transition to a safer, more sustainable, and lower-carbon future.
As a Technical Partner, PETRONAS will contribute to developing and disseminating knowledge, standards, and technical expertise in key areas, including operational efficiency, environmental protection, and safety.
Energy Institute Chief Executive, Dr Nick Wayth FEI, commented:

International Energy Week 2025 is taking place in London over three days, featuring high-profile keynotes, panel discussions, and networking – and culminating in the prestigious International Energy Week Awards Dinner.
