Giles Mackey, Global Head - HSSE at JERA Nex bp, steps up from his role as Vice Chair. He succeeds Lisbeth Norup Frømling, who has left Ørsted.

Pavlo Malyshenko, Head of Generation, Offshore at Vattenfall, has been appointed Vice Chair.

Together, they will lead G+’s work to improve health and safety standards across the global offshore wind industry through incident data reporting, good practice guidance, safe-by-design activity lifesaving rules and learning from incidents.

Giles Mackey, Chair of G+, commented:

In announcing the leadership changes, the G+ Board wish to thank outgoing Chair, Lisbeth Norup Frømling, for her leadership and contribution to G+ as a long-standing Board member, wishing her every success for the future.

The G+ Offshore Wind Health and Safety Organisation comprises the leading offshore wind farm operators – EDF Power Solutions, Equinor, Iberdrola, JERA Nex bp, Ocean Winds, Ørsted, RWE, Siemens Gamesa, SSE Renewables, TotalEnergies, Vattenfall and Vestas – as well as an expanding array of international associate members.

Set up in partnership with the Energy Institute, G+ works globally to tackle health and safety issues in offshore wind through five main work programmes: incident data reporting, good practice guidelines, safe by design, lifesaving rules and learning from incidents. The Energy Institute provides the secretariat and supports its ongoing work.
