Details:

AGM (17.45-18.15)
All EI members and non-members who are interested in getting involved with the branch are welcome to attend.

The AGM will include the election of branch officers.

Debate (18.15-19.30)
The Clash of Digitalisation is the now the defining force in the holistic development of global energy space.

It’s the fine balance between personal data, and the capacity to use data to build hyper efficient energy economies. In particular, domestic demand side response.

The Pete Project, who have sponsored the AGM and debate, are one of the first Innovate UK funded projects that have had to contend with this new paradigm. The project has delivered a GDPR compliant process, just has the general public develop a new level of scepticism on data.

The debate will hear from three speakers linked to the project, who have begun to navigate this new path. The subject will be introduced by the evening chair Sam Botterill (EI Committee Member), and follow on from the AGM.
