In partnership with Charles River Associates, the London and Home Counties YPN invites you to our panel discussion on "What's in store for UK batteries?". The UK storage market took off in recent years with many players, both established international energy companies and local start-ups, getting involved. Expectations were high. Perhaps too high?
Details:
A collapse in the capacity market prices and an overhaul in how the grid acquires services have raised concerns. What is next for the UK storage market? Was the folding of Cambourne Energy Storage, the first company to deploy a Tesla PowerPack in the UK, the canary in the coalmine or just the natural fall out of an evolving industry? Where will there be opportunities and what skills do you need to make the most of them?
Join our panel of industry representatives including network operators and project developers to discuss. In an open forum, we will have an engaging conversation with the panel and audience on what is in store for the future. We will explore what you can do to make the most of it. The panel will be followed a networking session where the conversation can continue. Charles River Associates have kindly provided canapes and drinks for the event.
