We have a visitors’ carpark which has only has 12 spaces. If members are able to car share that would be a help. If this is busy, please park in the staff car park across the road and ask at the gatehouse for a token on the way out (for the barrier).

Length of visit:
The tour lasts approx. 1.5-2hrs.

Distance:
We follow the route of the raw materials through to the finished board. The tour is mainly walking – approx. distance 1.5 miles.

Clothing:
Egger provide hi-vis vests. You must wear flat, sensible, sturdy, non-slip and enclosed toed shoes or boots.

Terrain:
The majority of the tour is on the same level. However there are 9 flights of metal stairs on the tour, which the group will have to use.

Additional information:
As we have powerful magnets throughout our processes, we cannot allow anyone with a pacemaker on a factory tour. Unfortunately if you use a pacemaker you will be unable to attend the factory tour.
