Today digitalization and artificial intelligence is major talking point within all industries.

Within energy sector the focus has and continues to seek efficiencies through use of digital technology during the operation of the assets.

However, we continue to see major inefficiencies during project delivery. Typical performance shows an average of over 80% cost over runs and 75% schedule delay resulting in a multi-billion-dollar losses.

Resolving execution complexity has always been a major issue for project managers where they are expected to work out the solutions without any stars to navigate by – “Dashboards without insight”.

Ideally one should identify issues before they become in surmountable problems. However, project manager’s rear-view perspective is incapable of providing insights at the right time to make the right decisions.

Is there a better way? How can one utilise current digital offering to address the above issues?
