Energy Institute Northern Ireland Branch, is hosting a webinar bringing together key stakeholders in the gas industry to discuss how to green the gas network.

To meet the challenge of climate change and the transition to a low carbon economy, it will be necessary to replace the carbon-emitting natural gas used for industrial processes and in our homes for heating, hot water and cooking. A mix of solutions is likely to be required for a range of applications and geographies, including the potential of low carbon hydrogen, biomethane and increasing the use of electricity from renewable sources.

At this webinar you will hear how the gas network companies hope to deliver long-term sustainable investment, create demand for clean technologies and green gas, stimulate new green industries and supply chains that in turn will deliver new employment opportunities.
