About this course:
This online course provides an overview of the principles of data testing and analysis for energy management. In this course, you will learn to define the accuracy, precision and resolution of energy data, as well as the types of management information required in monitoring and targeting procedures. The course will also review how to undertake a degree-day regression analysis to account for weather variations in energy data, how to undertake a CUSUM analysis and identify the impact of energy improvements, as well as the common estimation techniques used by energy managers
This course is self-paced and can be started at any time.
Qualification:
Successful completion of this course results in the EI Level 2 Certificate in Data testing and analysis.

Assessment:
This course is assessed via a short online test following the course.
Who should take this course:
This course is recommended for those with 1-2 years of experience in energy management. Although there are no official prerequisites, it is recommended that you have at least A level maths or equivalent.
