We are excited to announce our next event focusing on Mental Health Resilience. On October 3rd we will be setting up a mental health workshop at the Aberdeen Science Centre where we will have incredible local facilitators (look out for the announcement on the amazing facilitators we have!) discussing a variety of topics surrounding mental health in the workplace (and beyond!)
Event details:
This event is aimed at bringing mental health into conversation, allowing open and honest discussions. This event is a relaxed, open space which will be free of judgement and will enable awareness and education on mental health resilience.
From organisational change to anxiety, our facilitators will bring their experiences and expertise to the event, creating a positive discussion around mental health awareness and supporting attendees with real life examples, coping mechanisms and take aways that are made to support.
This event is likely to have discussions on suicide, depression and other topics surrounding mental health. Whilst we want to make the event a positive one, we would suggest attendees take due consideration and care when deciding if they wish to attend. At the event there will be an alternate space where attendees can leave active conversations.
Whilst we will have some mental health professionals at this event, we would always suggest seeking help from your doctor should you have any concerns for your mental health. This event, as all of our events are free to attend and we extend an invite to anyone who might feel they would benefit from attending this event irrespective of age and industry – we would love for your to attend.
In order to allow for a space that is truly safe for people to talk, we will have no professional photography or videography at this event and ask that attendees restrict the use of their mobile phones where possible.
