I am pleased to announce that we will be kicking off the year with our first networking session entitled “What to look out for in the energy sector during 2019”.
I am pleased to announce that we will be kicking off the year with our first networking session entitled “WHAT TO LOOK OUT FOR IN THE ENERGY SECTOR DURING 2019”. Based on positive feedback from last year’s first networking session, we are bringing back a similar moderated panel discussion format to kick off the year. A panel of 4 experts from across the energy sector this year moderated by Tim Rockell of KPMG and Vice Chairman of EI Singapore will discuss their views and this will be followed by an open and hopefully highly interactive discussion.
The event will kick off at 7.00pm and once complete will, as usual be followed by drinks and snacks at the KPMG Club across the road from the Hong Leong Building.

Tim has worked at KPMG for 21 years; 6 years in Singapore leading the KPMG Global Energy Institute Asia Pacific. Tim leads and directs KPMG’s relationship with large Energy and Governmental organisations in Asia Pacific.

Mark has over 20 years of research, trading and investment experience in investment banking and asset management in London and Singapore, across all the major energy, industrial & precious metal, bulk, agriculture and soft commodity markets.

Enrupt, is open innovation platform focused on the development of disruptive technologies within the energy sector. She founded EnRupt to support the ongoing transformation of the energy sector to be closer to the customer, using cleaner, renewable sources, and leveraging digital technologies. She is driving this transformation by building partnerships between young, innovative start-ups and corporations. Enrupt has rapidly become a dynamic builder of energy-focused start-up innovation from Singapore and expanding to Dubai in Q4 2018.
Kerry Anne Shanks - Senior Consultant at Poten & Partners
Kerry Anne is a recognized expert on the dynamics of gas and LNG markets. Market advisor on major energy transactions, including international pipelines, LNG supply, shipping and regas and power projects. She has advised on a number of the world’s major gas and LNG projects. Specific engagements include strategic advice, pricing disputes and due diligence on project-finance and other transactions. Kerry Anne has over 15 years’ experience gained at Wood Mackenzie and Shell.
As previously advised, we shall commence levying a small charge for non-EI members to attend our regular networking events from now on. The charge will be set at UK£ 15.00. All Members, Associate or Affiliate Members and Students will be continue to be able to attend free of charge.
