The NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (NGC) is the most widely held health and safety qualification in the UK. It will provide you with a broad understanding of key health & safety issues and is the first step in building your career.
It is the most requested qualification in health & safety by employers. It provides a sound basis for further study and becoming a health & safety specialist and is considered a core qualification for general management.

The NEBOSH Certificate is aimed at those working in health and safety and want to develop a career in safety management. It is suitable for managers, supervisors and operational staff from all functions not just health and safety, from organisations in all sectors.

The course covers the main UK legal requirements for safety, workplace hazards and methods of control. It is the first step in building a lifelong career in health and safety. NG1 – open book examination 4 hours
